Totally agree with One Vanza & Joe Smith's comments. Dilan was very good with speeches etc, being very young and not afraid to stand in front of hundreds of people. By the way who was the guy controlling the sound etc. He did a good job too. Any contact info to hire him for future functions/weddings etc?

Firstly Congratulations to you on been a youngest President of Vanza Community, taking on challenge it’s not an easy task to please all, no matter how much you try to improvise, There will be someone trying to demoralise you, rather than complimenting you and you just have to Ignore them.
Having met you in person may I take this opportunity in wishing you and all your team well done, I really enjoyed the variety of the food and the show was excellent, I came from other side of the world to see what our Vanza do in UK.
On Personal note moving forward I can see our young Vanza’s will flourish, rather than been criticized by our own Vanza, Instead of helping in any manner of form

The Diwali show was fantastic compared to last year. Excellent food and entertainment apart from repeat of songs (minor grunt). The sound system and the contoller did an excellent job. Very good idea of providing refreshments (chips & beans) afterwards as people like us coming from far do not need to stop for food going home!! The venue was ok but I suppose it was much cheaper and AFFORDABLE then Watford Town hall.
We nearly gave up coming to the show as we thought that the show would be a repeat of last years uneventful show! But how wrong were we this time.
Well done, Good work Vanza Society!!

I had a fantastic time at the Diwali show this year, but I think the Watford Town Hall is better because its extremely large, and it looks like an event hall. Navnat Centre is not for hosting big events like a Diwali show, but I hope you take this advice into consideration for future reference.
The speech at the beginning of the show was a little hasty and I found it hard to understand because it was not as clear as the old presidents. Please I was hope the new president talks slower, and clearer becasue my father was not understanding, and kept asking me.

Save Navratri- Due to Cut backs
BRENT COUNCIL wants to abolish Navratri Grants.THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE.
We need all your support in a big way, therefore Please you need to turn up in large numbers to strongly support us in our fight to save Navratri grant which Brent Council is to cut it to zero.
On Tuesday 15th Feb 2011 at 7.pm, at Brent Town Hall Wembley.
(WE ARE PREPARED TO SEE SOME CUTS BUT NOT COMPLETE CUT)
