Pool Tournament 2012


Back by popular demand, the Vanza Society Youth Committee have organised a Pool Tournament.
The details are as follows:

Date: Sunday 25th March 2012
Time: 12:30pm onwards.
Venue: Riley’s (35 - 43 High Street, Harrow, Wealdstone, HA3 5DE - 0208 863 3705)

There is a fee of £5 if you want to play! It's free if you just want to come and enjoy the day!

In order to play you must if you are not already become a member at Riley’s which you can do on the day for free and you must be 18+ (limited spaces left).

We would like experienced referees volunteers to help out on the day. If you are interested in taking part or being a referee to help the Youth please e-mail them on:

Cricket Nets 2012

Cricket Nets are back!

Location: Nower Hill High school, George V Avenue, Pinner, HA5 5RP
Dates: Thursday 2nd Feb 2012 - to 29th March 2012
Time: 8pm to 9pm

2 Nets have been booked
Charges are as follows, therefore for this year for 10 nets:
- Over 16’s - £40 in advance or £5 on the day.
- 16 and under - £25 in advance or £3 on the day.


It is requested to you all to bring the money on the day.
Importantly please stay behind and help to wind up after the nets, it is only fair.

Interesting VSOL Website Facts:

  • Mailing List introduced Dec 2009.

  • The Vanza Society of London is the first within our Vanza Communities to have shown
    Navratri Video over a projector to the mass audience within the hall; this started in 2007
    and has continued every year.

  • With this new innovative idea we took it one step further, to show our Navratri on our Website as this can reach every person in every corner of the globe.

  • First navratri video was uploaded in 2008 and second this year 2009.

  • In January 2010 the Diwali Show 2008 & 2009 was uploaded on to our website.

  • Live Video during Navratri and Diwali & Xmas Show is taken by:
    Dilan Ashwin Vaghela and Ashwin Nathu Vaghela.

  • Most importantly our first website was launched in 1999, 10 Years ago. Yes we have had our website for 10 years ago. Gradually over the years it has become advanced with information
    and data. Over the years our website has become an integral part of our community to obtain information quickly and efficiently.

  • Website re-designed in 2008.

  • Guestbook was introduced in 2006.
